Architectural Signage & Fit-Out Installation
Signage for architects, designers, and construction teams. Designed, manufactured, and installed by our team – on time, on budget and built to last.
On a fit-out or build programme, signage is usually one of the last trades on site – which means there’s no margin for delays, mismatched finishes, or installers who haven’t seen the drawings. Wise Studios works as part of your project team from early design through to final fit-out, so signage arrives ready to install, fits the programme, and matches specifications the first time.
Built for construction and fit-out
Signage installation on a live site isn’t the same as fitting a sign to an existing building. It means working around other trades, coordinating access equipment, managing traffic and pedestrian safety, and getting planning permissions sorted before anyone arrives on site.
We manage everything directly, rather than handing it off to a separate installer. The same team that designed and built the signage oversees the install, which means decisions made on the drawing board hold up when they meet the real conditions of a site.
From initial concept to finished fit-out
Whenever possible, we start on site, not at a desk – walking the space, taking measurements, and understanding how it will be used before any design work begins. From there, our designers, fabricators, and project managers work as one team, developing a signage and wayfinding package that fits the brief, the budget, and the building.
Manufacturing happens in-house to the standard set out in the original proposal and artwork sign-off, no surprises. A single Project Manager stays as your point of contact for the life of the project, coordinating installation, access equipment, traffic management plans, and the planning permissions needed to get the job done cleanly and on schedule. Projects are finished to the standard the building deserves.
Spatial design and wayfinding, done properly
Good wayfinding is part of the architecture, not an afterthought bolted on at the end. Our design team works on information design, wayfinding, and brand integration from early in the project, so signage reads as part of the space rather than something added to it afterwards. We’ve delivered wayfinding and signage schemes for large public buildings, commercial fit-outs, and mixed-use developments across New Zealand.
